On the afternoon of 27th March 2020, in response to Party secretary Lan Shaomin’s instruction to develop “nighttime economy” in Suzhou, Gu Jianlie,member of standing committee of Wuzhong district,hosted an investigation meeting on brand-building of Suzhou traditional food “Cangshu Lamb”.
After listening to the report from Chairman Zhang JIn of SuzhouMICE and President Chen Minqi of Canghsu Lamb Association, Gu stressed that Suzhou government is actively developing Suzhou nighttime economy and it will be important to develop the “Cangshu Lamb” brand. Wuzhong District Government will work out measures to support it. We will continue to do a good job in "Six ones Project" development.
Gu emphased that the industrialization of “Cangshu Lamb” should insist on the principle of government support, association formation, enterprise pioneering and operators participation. The actual work should adhere to the principles of market-oriented, enterprise operation, standardized management, industrialization development and organizational improvement. The innovation of brand and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage should be combined for conforming market, stimulating consumption and increasing operator income.
